So I was in the park today and took these pictures and wrote this poem - which is more or less a collections of Haiku. (something I have not written since high school I think...)

Purple Opaqueness
fingers fragile stretching up
to caress the sky

Clumps of Yellow
atop riotous green
once pulled weed

Delicate White
hidden in shade proud
speckles eye delight

Little Pink Surprise
tinting the landscape boldly
missed by quick

Fading Stem Strong
a brown centered bloom clings
to life's light

Deepest greens are
everywhere but pleasure is
bursts of color
